Deger 9000 Tracker
The tracker in the photo is a dual axis Deger 9000 installed by DTE Solar in 2011 near Port Perry Ontarion and has 40 Heliene modules each 300 watts.
Inverters are 2- SMA 5000 US. Deger 9000 trackers provide excellent return on investment because of the additional harvest of up to 43% more energy that comparable fixed systems.
Deger has been perfecting their trackers longer than any competitors and customers reap the rewards of their meticulous German engineering.
Fixed Ground-Mounted Systems
This photo shows a fixed system mounted on the ground.
Because there are no moving parts, fixed ground mounted systems are virtually maintenance free.
Compared to active sun trackers the energy harvest is less but so is the cost.
If the owner has a suitable space in an unshaded area, mounting the array on the ground is sometimes the best solution.
